| About | Roger F. Cain, 53, a life long Rushville area resident, passed away January 13, 2016 on his farm in Rush County. Roger was born July 11, 1962 in Greenfield, IN to John A. & Rosemary (McCauley) Cain. He was a 1981 graduate of RCHS. Roger married his high school sweetheart, Christie Dean, on March 24, 1984. He was a Rush County farmer his entire life and truly believed in hard work. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Rushville. Roger is survived by his wife, Christie, of Rushville, his father, John A. & wife Ellen Cain of Rushville, daughters, Kisha Brumfield & husband Joe of Temecula, CA, Niki Cain of Rushville and Hillary Cain of Greenwood, brothers, Mark Cain of Rushville and Jerry Cain and a sister, Debbie Ripberger & husband Chris of Rush County. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosemary Cain in 1999. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church in Rushville. Visitation will be held from 2-8 PM on Monday evening, January 18, at Moster Mortuary, Rushville. Rev. Jeremy Gries will preside and burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited Monday at the mortuary at 1:30PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the RCCF-Kenneth E. Dean Scholarship Fund, St. Mary Church or Calvary Cemetery. |
