| About | Ronald W. Eakins, 51, a long time Shelby County resident passed away Friday, July 3, 2015 in Shelby County. Ron was born in Rush County on May 5, 1964 to Ronald G. Eakins and Linda (Hall) Taylor. He was a 1983 graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School. Ron worked in industrial maintenance at the Shelbyville Waste Water Treatment Plant and most recently worked at Indiana Precision Forge in Shelbyville. He attended Hope’s Point Baptist Church in Shelbyville. Ron loved his dog Boo and riding motorcycles. Ron is survived by his mother, Linda Taylor and husband Larry of Greenwood; sister, Rhonda Schwegman of Shelbyville; step brother, Bill McMahan and wife Liz of Jacksonville, Florida; 2 step sisters, Kelly Shearer of Indianapolis and Mandy Graham and husband Dave of Frisco, Texas; nephew, Scott Schwegman; extended nieces and nephews; and his loving dog Boo. Ron was preceded in death by his father, Ronald G. Eakins. Service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville. Pastor Ed Mohr will preside. Friends are welcome to visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Rushville’s East Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army or Hope’s Point Baptist Church in Rushville. Arrangements entrusted to Moster Mortuary. |
