About | Rose Ann (Martin) Turner, 55, a lifelong resident of Rushville, passed away on May 31, 2014 in Rushville. Rose Ann was born July 11, 1958 to Geo. Melvin and Naomi (Richey) Martin. She married Raymond Edward Turner of Rushville on March 11, 1978. Rose Ann was a past member of Beta Sigma Phi, Theta Pi Chapter. She was an avid music lover, especially classic rock, and enjoyed designing computer graphics and clipart as a hobby. She was a beloved wife, sister, friend, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed special times with her grandchildren, which she affectionately referred to as her “babies.” In addition to her husband, Raymond, she is survived by a daughter, Chante’ Turner-Wells (fiancé Pete Ratekin) of Rushville; son, Cody Turner of Rushville; grandchildren, Mackenzie Wells, Geo. Jesse Wells, Connor Ratekin, and Abby Ratekin; sisters, May (David) Shouse and Marcia (Tim) Meer, as well as a dear lifelong friend, Donetta (Mark) Atkins-Fields; sister-in-law and several brothers-in-law; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Rose Ann was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Ashley; mother-in-law, Alvina (Frank) Turner; and father-in-law, Clinton Turner. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville. Pastor Ray Sweet will preside. Friends are welcome to visit from 11 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday. Cremation will follow services. Arrangements entrusted to Moster Mortuary. |
