| About | Rosemary Sweet, 78,long time Rushville resident passed away 9:56 AM, on August 1, 2011 at Batesville, In. at the Margaret Mary Hospital. Rosemary was born February 24, 1933 in Rushville, IN to Delphon and Martha (Bryant) Sweet. Rosemary had been a member of the First Baptist Church in Rushville. She was a RHS graduate in the Class of 1952. She had lived the last three years with her daughter in Metamora, IN. Prior to that, she was a Rushville resident most of her life. She had worked at Ft. Benjamin Harrison before retiring after forty-two years. Rosemary leaves behind her son Jack Sweet (and his wife,Geneva) of Rushville, Indiana and two daughters Mrs. William (Kathy) Doerflein of Metamora, IN and Mrs. Michael (Peggy) Peters of Connersville, IN. She also leaves one brother, Thomas E. Sweet of Rushville, IN and two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Rosemary was preceded in death by one brother, Norman Sweet (2007). A funeral Service will be held at the convenience of the family. There is no visitation. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery, following services. Arrangements are being handled by Moster Mortuary.
