| About | Ruby L. Henderson, 80, a life long Rush County-Henderson area resident, passed away January 3, 2015 at her home in Henderson. She was born October 13, 1934, the oldest child of Floyd & Nona (Mozingo) Boggs. She was a 1952 graduate of Rushville High School. Ruby married William E. Henderson on August 22, 1952 and he preceded her in death on November 29, 2011. Ruby was a long time member of the Hannegan Christian Church. She retired as office manager after 31 years with GTE/Verizon. She is survived by sisters, Shirley Dearinger Bartlett & husband Richard of Rushville & Betty Jo Stuckey of Indianapolis. Ruby is also survived by several nieces and nephews & great nieces & great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a sister, Kay Hardin and brothers, Wayne & Billy Boggs. Services will be held at 3 PM Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville, with Warren Engel presiding. Friends are welcome to visit at the mortuary from 1-3 PM that same day. Burial will be in Rushville's East Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hannegan Christian Church. |
