About | Sally Marie Bailey Eilerman, 64, Lima, died at 2:04 a.m., in Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She was the daughter of Wade Hatfield and Mary Louise (McAfee) Bailey. On Aug 10, 1968, she married Michael Kenneth Eilerman, who preceded her in death. Surviving are a son, Michael "Boot" (Paula), Lima; three daughters: Michele (Shawn) Bayliff, Cincinnati, Marcie (Daniel) Brickner, New Albany, and Mandi Eilerman, Cleveland; and six grandchildren. Deceased are two children: Matthew and Markie Lynn; and two brothers: Daniel Wade and David. She was a faithful believer in the Lord and sacrificed all she had for her family. She treasured her children and grandchildren and was blessed to have the Shawnee School Transportation Department and Staff as a second family. She spent 30+ years driving school bus for Shawnee and Apollo School systems and always greeted her "children" with a smile, a hug and likely a cookie! She touched many lives over those years with her loving spirit. She was a strong woman with even stronger family values. She was a faithful, loving wife for 27 years of marriage and even after her husband passed she continued to be his wife on earth waiting patiently until she could be reunited with her best friend. She attended First Baptist Church, Lima, and worked for many years in the office of Winona Lake, with her other second family. She loved sewing, bedazzling clothing, when her kids were young, but most of all, her grandchildren. Funeral services will be at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home, with Rev Rob White officiating. Burial: Saint Elizabeth Cemetery Coldwater Mercer County Ohio, USA |
