| About | Sarah J. York age 62 of Greensburg passed away July 3, 2014 at her residence with family at her side. She was born March 10, 1952 in Rushville a daughter of Elmer McDonald and the late Nancy (Pratt) Moore. She was factory worker at the Trane Corp. many years. Sarah attended Rush Consolidated School System throughout her early life and received her GED in the 1990's. She had been a cancer survivor since 1999 and attend cancer support groups many years. Left to cherish her memory are her father and stepmother Elmer and Bonnie McDonald Rushville; daughter Georgana Taylor of Flatrock; granddaughter Angela Taylor of Shelbyville; Brothers Tom (Elke) McDonald of Arlington, Bernard and Elmer McDonald both of Rushville; sisters Janet Hatfield of Rushville, Kim (Arnold) Allen and Vickie Bussberg both of Greensburg. Sarah's last wish was a private cremation. She wanted everyone to support the fight against cancer and please donate to the charity of your choice.
