| About | Scott Alan Washmuth, 52, of Rushville, died Sunday, June 11, 2006, at his residence. Born October 6, 1953, in Rushville, he was the son of Richard and the late Alice Amos Washmuth. Scott was a 1971 graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School and was a cabinet maker for 32 years with his family business, Washmuth Cabinets. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson mototcycle and vacationing in Jamaica. Survivors include his father, Richard Washmuth (and wife Mary Jo) of Shelbyville; one son, Aaron Washmuth of Fort Wayne; two brothers, Larry (and wife Nancy) of Sarasota, FL and Tim (and wife Diane) of Falmouth, IN; one sister, Susie (Mrs. Kelly) McClure of Rushville, IN; and two step sisters, Kathy (Mrs. David) Justice of Greenfield, IN and Becky (Mrs. Charlie) Wilholt of Tennessee. He was preceeded in death by his mother; one son, Justin; one sister, Linda Sue; one step brother, John Wright; and one niece, Jessica McClure. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Todd Funeral Home in Rushville. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
