| About | Mr. Scott D. Brooks, age 39 of Rushville, passed away following a battle with cancer March 24, 2010 at his residence with his family at his side. Scott was born in Rushville, IN on March 22, 1971, the son of Carl R. and Marcia E. (Peters) Brooks, and the brother of Tina Brooks all of whom survive. He attended St. Mary School and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Scott was a 1989 graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School and was a member and past officer of the Elks Lodge 1307. He was also active in the Rushville Men's Softball League. He was retired from Fujitsu Ten after 20 years of service. He had done most every job within the factory. In addition to his parents and sister, he is also survived by several aunts & cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00AM March 27th at St. Mary Catholic Church in Rushville with Rev. William Turner and Msgr. Harold Knuevan officiating. Burial will follow at Rushville's Calvary Cemetery. Friends are invited to call from 4:00 to 8:00PM at Todd Funeral Home in Rushville where there will be an Elks Memorial Service at 7:30 PM and the Rosary recited at 8:00PM.
