| About | Sue Ann Hodge, 71, a long time Rush County resident, passed away January 10, 2014 in Shelbyville. She was born June 4, 1942 in Dayton, OH. to James Glen & Josephine C. (Caldwell) Coffman. She was a 1960 graduate of Rushville High School. Sue Ann married Albert A. Hodge on December 26, 1986 and he survives. She was married to Dr. Vic O'Connor, he passed away February 22, 2000. She is also survived by her sons, Jamie O'Connor and Kelly & wife Carol O'Connor all of Columbus, OH., a daughter, Joanna Losier of Union, KY., a brother, Jay & wife Cathy Coffman of Rushville, a sister, Patty & husband Steve Moore of Frankfort, IN. and 8 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter. Sue Ann worked for United Airlines as a stewardess and in reservations for many years. She worked as a receptionist for Dr. Ram Kartha while he had his practice in Rushville. She was a member of the Rush County Humane Society, an associate of Tri Kappa Sorority and was a member of the RHS Alumni Association where she was the first president. There will be a reception announced later that will be held at the Rushville Elk's Lodge. Memorial contributions may be made to the Nature Conservancy, the Rush County Humane Society thru RCCF or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana. |
