| About | Susan L. Lower, 54, of Rushville, died Sunday, May 11, 2008, in Shelbyville. Born Feb. 8, 1954, in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Tom and Mary (Fishback) Nickolas. She married Randy Lower on April 6, 1974, and he preceded her in death on March 31, 1991. Survivors include her parents; sons, Eric Lower of New Salem and Chris (wife, Amber) Lower of Glenwood; brothers, Jim (wife, Carol) Nickolas and Jon Nickolas, both of Manilla; sisters, Marsha Neeb of Shelbyville and Vicki (husband, Gary) Weitzel of Manilla; grandchildren, Brianna, Blake, Caitlyn and Cheyann; brothers-in-law, Greg (wife, Linda) Lower of Greensburg and Tim Lower of Rushville; and sisters-in-law, Teresa Meyer of Rushville and Lori (husband, Mark) Hoeing of New Salem. Mrs. Lower lived in the New Salem area 30 years. She had been employed at Fujitsu Ten in Rushville for 15 years until December 2007 in the receiving department. She last held a position as a forklift operator. Mrs. Lower was a member of the New Salem United Methodist Church. She had been a member of the Glenwood Volunteer Fire Dept. (Ladies Auxiliary). Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Moster Mortuary, 334 N. Main St., Rushville. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Moster Mortuary, with Pastor Phil Mitchell officiating. Interment will be at Layton Cemetery in Rush County following the funeral services.
