| About | Thomas A. Marshall died September 29, 2001 at his Danville home. He was 78. Born July 15, 1923, in Rushville, he was a son of Chez and Marie (Barlow) Marshall. He married Barbara Foley Marshall, who survives. Mr. Marshall was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He worked as a supervisor at Detroit Diesel Allisons for 35 years before retiring in 1986. He was a member of Danville Christian Church, Western Star Lodge #26 F&AM, Murat Shrine, Phi Delta Kappa Fraternity and the Air Force Association. Additional survivors include a son, Tom Marshall Jr. of Avon; a stepson, Joseph Simpson of Texas; brothers Chez Marshall Jr. of Rushville and Fred Marshall of Florida; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services were held October 3 at Baker Funeral Home in Danville. Interment followed at Danville South Cemetery. |
