| About | Thomas L. Speer, 58, of Rushville, passed away July 22, 2015 at Reed Hospital in Richmond. He was born in Rushville April 13, 1957 the son of the late, Thomas E. & Georgia Gwinnup Speer. He graduated from Rushville Consolidated High School, Class of 1976 and attended Vincennes University. He worked in various areas of law enforcement. He attended the Rushville Church of the Nazarene. Those left to cherish his memory include four daughters; Miriah (Mrs. Will) Dodge of Milroy, Aimee Herbert (fiancé’ Kevin Rankin) of Rushville, Joni Harrison of Connersville & Megan Harrison of Laurel. Ten Grandchild and one great grandchild also survive. A graveside service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday July 28, 2015 at Hopewell Cemetery in southeastern Rush County with Pastor Todd Reynolds officiating.
