| About | Tim A. Sparks, 32, of Bristol, TN and formerly of Rushville, died Saturday, May 18, 1996 at the Bristol Regional Medical Center, the result of a diving accident near the South Holston Dam. Born Nov 22, 1963 in Los Angeles, CA, he was the son of Kenneth and Geneva Hill Sparks Ramey. His mother survives in Bristol. He was a 1984 graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School and worked as a forestry foreman with Asplondh Company in Tennessee. Surviving besides his mother are three brothers: Garland E. Harpring of Lilburn, GA, Charles J. Harpring of Nashville, TN, and Kenneth Sparks II of Rushville; a paternal grandmother: Martha Little of Rushville; and maternal grandparents: Charles and Ina Hill, also of Rushville. Services are 2PM Wednesday at Todd Funeral Home in Rushville with the Rev. Kenneth Bates officiating. Burial is at the Rushville East Hill Cemetery. Visitation is 4-8PM today at the funeral home. |
