About | William C. "Bill" Kile, 62, of Rushville, died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2006 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Born Aug. 9, 1944 in Rushville, he was the son of Charles J. and Ruth (Maple) Kile, both deceased. He married Janet Ronan Nov. 25, 1964; she survives. Mr. Kile lived in Rushville most of his life. He was a 1962 graduate of Rushville High School. He and his wife co-owned and operated Doug's Flowers in Rushville since 2002. He also worked as a pipefitter for Vectren (formerly Indiana Gas Co.) for more than 40 years. He was a 50-year member of Main Street Christian Church, where he had served as a Deacon, and had also attended Ben Davis Creek Christian Church. He was a former member of Phoenix Lodge No. 62 F.&A.M., Scottish Rite of Indianapolis, and was a Past Worthy Matron of O.E.S. No. 143 in Rushville. He was a member of the Rush County Republican Party, the Rushville Road Runners square dancing club and the Smile-A-Round Dance Club in Rushville. Survivors in addition to his wife include two daughters, Danielle (Mrs. Steven) Flowers and Suzette Kile, both of Rushville; one sister, Barbara (Mrs. Tom) Dennis of Carthage; one grandson; and one step granddaughter. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Moster & Cox Mortuary in Rushville with Pastor Mick Saunders and Howard Bullard officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington East Hill Cemetery.
