| About | William Eugene Hamm, 80 of Wadesville, IN, formally of Rushville, passed away Jan. 21, 2013 at his residence. He was born Mar. 24, 1932 in Bloomington, IN, the son of Leatha Lucille Jackson. He married Ruth Ann (deVries) Hamm who preceded him in death. Bill was an Air Force veteran serving in the Korean War. He was a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and Indiana University. He was a retired school teacher, having taught in Knightstown, New Salem, and Rushville Consolidated High School in Rushville, IN. He attended Faith Bible Church in Evansville, IN. Survivors include his sister, Sue Terrell, of Bloomington, IN; five children, Steve (wife Rie) Hamm of Japan; Doug (wife Jani) Hamm of Wadesville, IN; Bruce (wife Jody) Hamm of Cartersville, GA; Mark (wife Linda) Hamm of Fishers, IN; and Gretchen (husband Dan) Honeycutt of Indianapolis, IN. Twelve grandchildren also survive. Graveside Services will be 11AM Thursday Jan. 24th at East Hill Cemetery 704 E. SR 44 Rushville, IN 46173 section 17.
