Hensler, Jr., 79, of Richmond Hill, died Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014. at Savannah Hospice House. William was born in Jefferson County, Madison, Indiana, and had lived the past three years in Richmond Hill. He was a veteran of the United States Army, a member of the Sierra Vista Presbyterian Church in Yuma, Arizona, and a retired guidance counselor for Rushville Consolidated High School in Rushville, Indiana. He is preceded in death by his mother and father. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Marlene L. Hensler; daughter, Tracy Williams of Chiang Mai, Thailand; son, Scott Hensler (Crystal) of Hinesville; granddaughter, Ryleigh; sisters, Carolyn Arbuckle of Catlin, Illinois, and Sharon Parks of Americus. A graveside service will be held at a later date at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville. Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel has charge of arrangements.
