| About | The Rushville Republican Mon Oct 17, 2011 RUSHVILLE — William L. Collyer, 45, a lifelong Rushville resident, lost his courageous battle with cancer Sunday evening, Oct. 16, 2011. Bill was born Nov. 5, 1965 in Rushville to Richard and Vivian (Moore) Collyer, both deceased. He married Lisa Randall Sept. 9, 1995; she survives. Bill had worked at Intat Precision for 21 years, 13 of those were spent in the machine shop. He was known as "Rusty" to those he worked with. Bill was a 1985 graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School. He was a member of Rushville's First Baptist Church where he worked with the youth group. He enjoyed working on cars, painting and drawing. He loved his family. Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He leaves behind his wife, Lisa of Rushville; sons, Kyle and Randall, both at home; brother, Mark (Cathy) Collyer of Washington; and sisters, Adonna Bailey of Washington and Vickie Collyer (Ergin) Ozturk of Chicago, Ill. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25 at First Baptist Church in Rushville with Rev. Jay Noll officiating. Friends are welcome to visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Rushville's East Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Grundy Mt. Mission School or the First Baptist Church. Arrangements entrusted to Moster Mortuary, Rushville. |
