| About | March 25, 2013 Rushville Republican RUSHVILLE — William Michael "Mike" Lacy, 55, a longtime Rushville resident, passed away March 24, 2013, in Indianapolis. He was born May 13, 1957, in Rushville to William Edward and Evelyn (Carlile) Lacy. Mike was a 1975 graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School. Mike had a love for the arts. He loved to collect antiques and enjoyed restoring Sheaffer ink pens, several of which he had restored over the years. He is survived by his mother, Evelyn Lacy of Rushville; longtime companion, Sandy Kilgore of Rushville; a sister, Kim and husband Dave Hamilton of Arlington; a nephew, Dustin Boring; a niece, Danielle Boring; great-nephews, Philip and Corbin Boring; and great-niece, Kayden Jones. He was preceded in death by his father and sister, Stephanie Boring. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 30 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville with Rev. Jeremy Gries presiding. Friends are welcome to visit from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Arlington East Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital. |
