63, of Danville, died Aug. 3, 2014. She was born Dec. 18, 1950 in Wabash, In., to Albert and Lois (Steele) Franklin. Diane was a graduate of Southwood High School, received her BS degree in speech-hearing, and her Masters degree in audiology both from Purdue University. She married Don Robinson on May 25, 1975, he survives. Diane taught speech-hearing in the Danville Community Schools from 1978-2006. She was a Lt. Col in the U.S. Army Reserve from 1979-2003, serving as an audiologist for the 337th General Hospital at Ft. Benjamin Harrison. Services - 11 a.m., Fri., Aug. 8 at Barlett Chapel U.M. Church, 4396 E. Main St., Avon, with visitation there from 4-8 p.m., Thur. Aug. 7, and 1 hour prior to service. A cremation will follow. Weaver & Randolph Funeral Home, Danville, entrusted with the arrangements. Surviving with her husband of 39 years, are her children, Scott L. (fiance, Melissa) Robinson - Memphis, TN., Ryan A. (Krista) Robinson - Brownsburg, Lance D. Robinson - Aurora, Il.; grandchildren, Briggs and Kerigan Robinson; sisters, Kathleen Franklin - Plainfield, and Marjory Johnson - Knoxville, Tn. She was preceded by a sister, Rebecca Franklin - Bedford. Contributions may be given to the Multiple Sclerosis Society. |
