Bradley Thomas Boaz was born on June 20, 1960 in El Paso, Texas, and was born into eternal life on January 12, 2022. Brad was the son of Dr. William Boaz and Mrs. Nancy (Yunt) Boaz, and brother to Robin Singer (brother-in-law to Joel Singer and uncle to Robert Singer and Julie Singer). Brad was a proud father and is survived by his children; Elizabeth Boaz, Alexander and Kathleen Boaz, and Emily (Boaz) and Trenton Schmale. Brad took great joy in being “Poppy” to his grandchildren; Maximilian, Beatrice and Heidi Schmale. He was a graduate of Purdue University and a lifelong Boilermaker. Brad was also a devoted IndyCar fan and enjoyed building his impressive collection of memorabilia. Brad was a true son of Lake Tippecanoe, where he grew up boating and barefoot skiing, and where he spent his retirement surrounded by his dear friends (the Stacy’s Crew) and passing on his deep love of the lake to his kids and grandkids. The family will hold a private interment service, and will hold a celebration of Brad’s life Summer of 2022. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Peachey Fund, which furthers breast cancer research (https://www.heroesfoundation.org/the-catherine-peachey-fund/). Eastlund Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. |
