About | Gregory Duane Sellers, 57, of rural Wabash, Indiana, died at 3:59 p.m. Friday, September 9, 2011 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. He was born June 27, 1954 in Wabash, to Larry D. and Judith Stouffer Sellers. Greg married Linda Fraustein in El Paso, Texas, on October 14, 1988. He was a 1973 Wabash High School graduate. He retired in 1993, after 20 years, from the US Army as a Staff Sergeant. He served in the South Pacific, Gemany, and in Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He was currently working as a set carpenter at Honeywell Center in Wabash, and as a driver for American Health Network in Marion. Greg was a member of Wabash American Legion Post 15, Wabash VFW Post 286, and National Rifle Association. He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. He also loved sitting by the fire pit at his home, which he built. He is survived by his wife, Linda Sellers; his mother, Judith Sellers, both of Wabash; two brothers, Mark Sellers of Wabash, and Scott Brenda Sellers of Urbana, Indiana; a niece, Amy Luke Randazzo of Converse, Texas; and two nephews, Jeff Sellers of Decatur, Indiana, and Dirk Sellers, of California. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry D. Sellers. Funeral services will be held at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with Rich Davis officiating. Friends may call 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, September 13 at the funeral home. Preferred memorial is Animal Shelter of Wabash County. |
