| About | Floyd Brown, 71, of Clarinda, IA passed away Sunday, December 15 2024 at the Clarinda hospital, after a short illness. He was born in Council Bluffs, IA on May 17, 1953 to the late Claude and Myrtle (Buttz) Brown, Floyd graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School. He moved to Omaha, where he spent several years with his partner, until his passing. He worked as a secretary for a railroad in Council Bluffs, and retired from AT&T, in Omaha. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Frankie Brown and Kenneth Brown; sisters, Luella (Brown) Acosta, Claudette Dye, Julia Frieze and Wanda (brother-in-law, Joe) Harroun. Floyd is survived by his sisters, Rosetta (brother-in-law, Harry Joel lll,) Inman; sister-in-law, Rita; brother, Claude "Sonny" Brown (sister-in-law, Ruth) and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM in the Community Room at Hoy-Kilnosky Funeral Home on JAN 19, 2025 |
