Sandy was a well-known writer and reporter for many out of state newspapers as well as Iowa newspapers. She won many state and national press women awards through the years. Her latest employment was for the Fort Dodge Messenger, Editor of the LIfestyle Section that went into thousands of area homes in and surrounding Fort Dodge. Her articles were interesting and followed area residents and events. She also authored the book "When We're Not Together" detailing her cancer battle. |
