About |
Barbara grew up in Earlham, Iowa and also spent time in Minnesota, Utah and Texas. It was while she was in Texas that she and her husband, Roger Clayton, decided they wanted to see more of the country, so she retired from being a medical transcriptionist and went on the road long-haul trucking for 20 years. She and Roger settled back in Iowa before his passing in 2003. Barbara eventually moved to Colorado in 2012 to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren. She loved serving her community through church, cooking or social events and she loved spending time with her family. |
