| About | Pamela Lynn (Genkinger) Herdman, age 68, of Ridgedale, Missouri, passed away Friday, February 20, 2015, at home. She was born August 22, 1946, in Des Moines, Iowa. Pamela was the daughter of Robert and Leona (Parcel) Genkinger. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks. Pamela worked as a bookkeeper and Chief Financial Officer for a blood bank. She was outgoing and a task master that got things done. Most of all, Pamela loved her family and she will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, John Genkinger; and a sister, Susan Genkinger. Pamela is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Lee Herdman of the home; two sons, Mark Herdman of Round Lake Beach, Illinois, and Erik Herdman of North Aurora, Illinois; two sisters, Linda Bonnett and husband Gary of Florida, and Marty Charles of Des Moines, Iowa; as well as several nieces and nephews. Burial will be at a later time at Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery, Rockford, Illinois. Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army in memory of Pamela. |
