About | Susan Elizabeth Way, 51, of Magnolia, Texas, died of cancer Friday, May 2, 1997, in the North West Medical Center at The Woodlands, Texas. The funeral service was at Forest Park, The Woodlands, Conroe, Texas. The body was cremated. A family memorial service and burial of cremains will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield. Memorials may be made to Friends of the Fairfield Public Library. Raymond Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements. She was born Feb. 13, 1946, in Fairfield, the daughter of Albert Earl and Keo Maxine Wilburn Baker. She graduated from Fairfield High School in 1964 and attended Parsons College for one year. She married David Charles Way on June 5, 1965 in Fairfield. Mrs. Way had been a legal administrator at Star Enterprise for 12 years. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and the Association of Legal Administrators. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Stephanie Lipschutz of Folsom, Calif., and Jennifer Woodard of The Woodlands, Texas; her parents, Albert and Keo Baker of Fairfield; four sisters, Barbara Raymond of Fairfield, Kathryn Shoemaker of Kahoka, Mo., Bonnie Burton of Farmington, and Christine Fayard of Conyers, Ga.; two granddaughters; and one step-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents. |
