| About | Bill was born Jan. 15, 1946, in Fairfield, Iowa, the son of John D. and Beulah M. (Stewart) Blough. Growing up in Fairfield he attended schools there, graduating from Fairfield High School in 1964. He attended the University of Iowa and then returned to Fairfield to graduate with the last class at Parsons College with a degree in business. He made a career in the cable industry, working in a number of different cities, settling in Iowa City in 1979. He enjoyed many things in life, including gardening, mushroom hunting, fishing, golfing, playing pool, bowling, playing cards and traveling, but near and dear to him were his family, friends and his dogs! Bill was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Margaret. |
