| About | Paulette K. Stearns - age 64, of Havelock, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at her home in Havelock, Iowa. Paulette Kay Peterson was born November 20, 1951, in Emmetsburg, Iowa. She was the daughter of Howard and Doris (Petersen) Peterson. She received her education in the Havelock-Plover area, graduating in 1970. Paulette was united in marriage to Duane Stearns on July 18, 1970. They made their home in Havelock. Paulette enjoyed working as a Home Health Provider for Pocahontas County for 28 years, retiring due to her ill health. Paulette also enjoyed crocheting, baking, working with her flowers and spending time with family and friends. Left to cherish her memory include her husband, Duane of Havelock; children, Shawn (Joel) Nagel of Marathon and Darren Stearns of Whittemore; grandchildren, Tyler and Hailey Wiseman, Shelby, Tony and Morgan Stearns; sisters, Jeanette (Dave) Ferguson and Carmella Peterson; brother, Chad (Kate) Peterson; sister-in-law, Linda Peterson and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Doris Peterson and brothers, Bob, Dale, Terry and Gale Peterson. |
