Funeral Service: 2 p.m., Friday, March 10, 2006 at the funeral home. Interment: Immediately following the service Friday, March 10, 2006 at the Newton Union Cemetery in Newton. Those left to honor Vivian's memory are her son, Benjamin Beck of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; her mother, Phillis Beck of Newton, Iowa; 3 brothers, Verle (Kim) Beck of Grinnell, Iowa, Tony (Jennifer) Beck of Monroe, Iowa, Terry (Regina) Beck of Des Moines, Iowa; and 2 nieces and 3 nephews. Vivian attended Newton High School as a freshman and was a graduate of Shelby High School. Vivian worked through Progress Industries and had a cleaning service.
