Dennis "Boone" Crafton, 56, peacefully ended his life journey at University of Chicago Medical Center on Sunday, July 11, 2010 and went home to his Lord. He was born May 9, 1954 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Dennis was employed at Win Cup in West Chicago at the time of his recent illness. This kind and good man enriched the lives of all those he met, and this world is greatly diminished by his passing. He leaves to remember him with love: his wife of 35 years, Gina (Hess) Crafton of Aurora; his daughter, Melissa (Jeffrey) Fabris of Bolingbrook and their children: Krysta, Brittany and JJ; his son, Marcus (Teresa) Crafton of Aurora and their son, Marcus Jr.; his mother, Margaret (Noble) Crafton of Emerson, Iowa; his brother, James (Beverly) Crafton of La Vista, NE; brothers-in-law, William (Barbara) Hess of Oswego and Robert (Sandra) Hess of Rock Hill, S.C.; his mother-in-law, Virginia Hess; numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews (who were crazy about him), plus Chelsey, his beloved trained pet turtle. He was preceded in death by his father, William Crafton and his father-in-law, Leroy Hess. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 16, 2010 from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY at 9:30 AM to St. Rita of Cascia Church at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Marywood Cemetery. |
