| About | 1952 - 2017 Dan L. Weaver, 64, passed away March 6, 2017. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, March 9, at McGilley State Line Chapel with Sharing of Memories beginning at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 10, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Dan graduated from the University of Iowa and lived in the Kansas City area since 1978. He operated his own CPA firm for over 30 years and served on multiple national AICPA committees. Dan served on the board of Harvesters for over 20 years, making him the second longest active board member. He loved to travel, Vegas, the ponies and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by father, Lavern Weaver. Survivors include his wife, Susan Weaver; children, Nick Weaver and Kelsey, Paige and Charles Thomeczek; his mother, Freda Weaver; brother, Gregg Weaver (Marisela); and sister, Leanne Weaver. He was a blessing upon everyone who's life he touched and we are grateful and honored that he loved us. In lieu of flowers please consider contributions to Harvesters.
