| About | VALLEY CENTER — Gordon “Scott†Holt, 52, USD 259 Wichita Southeast High School history teacher, Harley motorcycle lover, loving husband, dad, Papa Scott, son, brother and friend passed away Feb. 21. He was a graduate of Great Bend High School. He is survived by his wife, Diana, of the home; children: Brandi and Greg Baily, Jeremy and Stephanie Holt and Justin and Melissa Holt, all of Park City; Staci Holt and fiancé Preston Tretbar of Wichita; grandchildren: Blake Holt, Katherine Baily and Ethan Holt; mother and stepfather, Lois and Harry Guthrie of Valley Center; father and stepmother, Gordon and Pat Holt of Heavener, Okla.; brother, Kenny Holt of Valley Center; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Delores Guthrie of Holcomb; sister, Rhonda Lyon of Wichita; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Bobby Marsh of Wichita; brother-in-law, Terry Wade of Kendall; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harold and Fumiko Dirksen of Hutchinson; brother-in-law, Steve and Tina Dirksen of Salina. Scott was preceded in death by his sister, Angela Wade. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Lifepoint Church, 400 S. Abilene, Valley Center.
