| About | Stephen Richard Leeper,65, passed away June 1st, 2023 at his home in Kemp , TX. He was born Sept. 11th 1957 in Ellinwood, KS to Lawrence and Berneice (Rebein) Leeper. He was in the GBHS class of 1975. During high school his jobs included: harvest with Custom Cutters in Oklahoma and Texas, Parts Inc. auto parts store and factory rep. for Borg Warner. After high school he worked in the car parts industry in Colorado, Arizona and then settling in Texas. While working at Delco Remy he met his love, Glenda Holbrock who he spent 20+ yrs. along with their beloved dogs. Steve is survived by siblings: Bob McClellan (Bonnie) of Lenexa, Ks, Lucie Christiansen (Bruce) of Harveyville, Ks, Paul Leeper (Jeanette) of Amarillo, Tx, Bill Leeper (Maria) of Great Bend, Ks, Mary Carlson (Carl) of Aledo, Tx, Nancy Buehne (Steve) of Lenexa, Ks. 12 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. Steve was preceded in death by his parents. Brother Mike Leeper, and the love of his life, Glenda Holbrock. Steve was a member of the Rockin Country Church in Kemp, Tx. He was an avid golfer and billiards player. Steve was a life-long Kansas Jayhawks basketball and Kansas City Chiefs fan. |
