John Clifton Hill 1951 - 2006 Lawrence Services for John Clifton Hill, 54, Lawrence, will be at 4 p.m. Monday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.Mr. Hill died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2006, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.He was born Aug. 2, 1951, in Lawrence, the son of Clifton and Shirley Morgan Hill.Survivors include his wife, Paige Hill, of the home; his mother, Shirley Hill, Kerrville, Texas; two daughters, Morgan and Meghan, of the home; two brothers, Lew, Seminole, Fla., and Mark, Lawrence.The family suggests memorials to the Morgan and Meghan Hill Educational Fund, sent in care of Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. Personal aside: I started to school with John in the 3rd grade at Schwegler Elementary school. The last time I saw him alive was at the 35th LHS reunion. My sympathy to his wife and children. |
