For those who knew her, Roberta lived her life zealously and enjoyed life. While she was taken from this world at an early age, Roberta made the most of her days, fulfilling her love of world travel and spending vacations the last several years in Daytona, Florida, since she and John shared a love for the beach. Roberta's passion was for her family. She was very loving and protective of her husband and had a very close relationship with her son. That love was only exceeded by the birth of twin granddaughters, who lovingly called her Grandma Berta and wrapped her heart around their little fingers. She loved to play with the girls and spoil them with affection and gifts. Throughout her illness, her desire to be with her family gave her the strength and determination to keep going through chemotherapy and the pain that cancer brings. |
