Survivors: wife, Teresa; daughters, Margaret, Elizabeth, Clara, all at home; parents, Melvin and Mona Winger of Johnson; brother, Raymond of Milford; sisters, Melva Winger de Rondon of Denver, Sally Peterson of Johnson; grandmothers, Helen Winger, Maude Edmission, both of Johnson. Memorials have been established with United Methodist Church and the Stanton County 4-H Foundation. Kehr-Greene Funeral Home.

Edwin (Eddie) graduated from Stanton County High School in 1973.

As a lifetime resident of Stanton County Ed was a farmer and cattleman.
His many years as a member of the 4-H program in Stanton County gave him much pleasure. Ed had continued to support the 4-H program and encouraged his daughters and many other youth in numerous project areas. All phases of beef, other livestock, crop production and judging were among Ed's favorite projects.
Ed lived his life in harmony with the 4-H motto always striving "To Make The Best Better"
