| About | Jeffrey S. Williams, 36, Topeka, died Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center of a brain aneurysm. He was born Aug. 28, 1971 in Topeka, the son of L. Don and Judith A. Williams. He graduated from Topeka West High School in 1990, where he played basketball and golf. He attended Butler County Community College and graduated from Washburn University in 1994. He was employed by LKQ Mid-America Auto Parts. Jeff was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, played City League basketball from 1990 to 2005, was a member of the Gage Majors Bowling League and the Topeka Camping Club. He served as a den leader for his sons Webelos den. He was joined in marriage to Penny Burnett on July 7, 1995. She survives. Other survivors include his children, Alex (Alexandria) and Zack (Zachary); his mother, Judy Williams of Topeka; his brother, Todd Williams (Debbie) of Kansas City, MO, and numerous family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, L. Don Williams. Jeffs biggest loves were his family, the KU Jayhawks, NASCAR, and NHRA. Cremation is planned. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Trinity Presbyterian Church with inurnment in Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to a scholarship fund for his children, c/o CoreFirst Bank & Trust, 3035 S.
