| About | Julie Ann Crow, 58, Wakarusa, Kansas passed away Monday, October 2, 2017 at Midland Hospice House. She was born September 9, 1959 at Bloomington, Illinois, the daughter of Thomas and Donna Nelson DeSelm. Julie graduated from Marymount College in Salina, KS with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in nursing. She was a Operating Room Nurse at St. Francis Hospital for over 27 years. Julie was a loving devoted mother and wife. She dedicated her life to the patients she served in the operating room at St. Francis. Julie married Kevin Crow July 25, 1981 at Topeka, KS. He survives at the home. She was preceded in death by her parents. Other survivors include her three children, Jennifer (Matthew Freeby) Crow, Aaron (Sara) Crow, Travis Crow, a brother, Steve DeSelm, two sisters, Carol (Ron) Rogala, Teresa Roy, two nieces, Kate Roy and Libby Roy. A graveside funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 9, 2017 at Auburn Cemetery, Auburn, KS. Julie will lie in state from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Carey Funeral Home where the family will greet friends and relatives from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Auburn Community Center or the Auburn Fire Department and sent in care of the funeral home, P.O.
