Linda Nabazas Taggart, Topeka, Kansas, died peacefully after a long battle with cancer on August 15th 2016. She was born January 20th, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois and was the oldest child of Robert and Alice Nabazas. She was married to Ronald Taggart until his death in 1999. Linda graduated from Topeka West High School in 1977 and received a horticultural certificate from the Kaw Area Vocational School. She worked for the State of Kansas in various capacities for 24 years. She was an active member of Our Savior s Lutheran Church in Topeka since 1969 where she loved playing guitar during services. Linda was always very generous with her time and loved being with family and friends. She loved her nieces, nephews and cousins and would make special gifts and crochet blankets for them. Linda was an animal lover who was never without a pet or two. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Nabazas. She is survived by her father, Robert J. Nabazas and brothers Robert C. Nabazas and David J. Nabazas. The family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Fairlawn Heights Assisted Living and Grace Hospice for all their help and the excellent care given to Linda during the last few months. A memorial service will be on Saturday August 27 at 10:30 AM at Our Savior s Lutheran Church 2021 SW 29th St, Topeka, Kansas. Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society , Helping Hands Humane Society or Our Savior s Lutheran Church. |
