Pat Jones passed away Sunday, February 13, 2011 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita Kansas after a sudden collapse from respiratory failure while at her home in Greensburg Kansas. Pat was born December 9, 1954, the eighth of nine children, to Lawrence James Sr and Velma Kathryn Perkins Flakus, Wellsville. Pat is survived by her husband Charles, Greensburg, daughter Jolena and husband Ben Bruce, Great Bend, Kansas, three grandchildren Dillon and Damian Jones and Ethan Bruce and son Jesse Jones, Greensburg, four brothers, Lawrence Jr., Wellsville, Richard Flakus, Ramsey, Minnesota, Charles Flakus, Kansas City, Kansas, and Eugene Flakus, Lawrence, Kansas and three sisters, Sharon Haupt, Lawrence, Mary Arnett, Pomona, Kansas, and Barbara Flakus, Overland Park, Kansas. Pat is preceded in death by her father and a sister, Cecelia Flakus. Funeral services were held in Greensburg, Kansas with internment at Hillcrest Cemetery in Mullinville, Kansas. |
