About | Eyvonne "Jean" Husk, 71, of Parkersburg, W.Va., went to be with her Lord on Dec. 7, 2012, at her residence. She was born Nov. 20, 1941, in Fleming-Neon, Ky., a daughter of the late Dewey and Effie Lucas Hall. Jean was a homemaker, and retired after 23 years of service from the Bureau of the Public Debt. She was an active member of the South Parkersburg Baptist Church, where she was a former Sunday school teacher and choir member. She was also active in the Church's Lydia Women's Circle, and spent time traveling on Mission Trips with her Church family to Russia twice. She held a love for music, and very much enjoyed taking piano lessons. Surviving is her loving husband, Robert D. Husk; one daughter, Wendy Gibson Mills (Joe) of Brohard, W.Va.; two sons, Bradley Gibson of Atlanta, Ga. and Brian Gibson (Kelly) of Vienna, W.Va.; two sisters, June Hall of Mishawaka, Ind. and Faye Davis of Garner, N.C.; and one granddaughter, Rachel Ann Gibson of Vienna, W.Va. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dewey Hall Jr. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at South Parkersburg Baptist Church, with Pastor Joe Busch officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., and one hour prior to services on Monday at the church.
