About | James Aaron Roe, 23, of South Shore, Ky., died Saturday, June 2, 2007, in Ironton, Ohio. He was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, on July 27, 1983, a son of James Ray Roe of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Lois A. Carver Porter of South Shore. He was a student at Ashland Community and Technical College in Ashland. He was a member of the band Suffer (Trigger Soul). He loved rock music, hunting, fishing and golf. He was a graduate of Greenup County High School, where he played football and baseball. Surviving besides his parents are a twin brother, Robert Allen Roe of South Shore; a stepbrother, Nathaniel Porter of Otway, Ohio; stepsister, Lindsay Porter of Columbus, Ohio; grandparents, Mae Perry Carver of South Shore and Leonard Roe and Mary Lou Roe of South Shore; one niece, Natalie Roe; and one nephew, Carter Roe. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 7, 2007, at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore with the Rev. Robert Wells officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery on Ky. 1 in South Shore. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2007, and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. |
