When we hear the word FRIEND we think of pal, confidant, buddy, or sidekick. Robin was all these things and more! She was there to share my laughter, heartache, and even times she wiped the tears as they ran down my checks. I would love to say “Robin and I were life long friends” but that isn’t the case. Robin and I met in the spring of 2003 at Raccoon Baptist church. I’ve always heard many times that GOD puts people in our lives at the time when we most need them, and this could never be more true. She opened up her heart, her home and her family to mine. During our friendship I bonded with her parents, brother, and son. They treat me as if I am family. (If you ever met the Brown family you would know what I mean.) They are the most exceptional people you will ever meet. The JOY she gave to my family and I will never be forgotten. For all those people who have a Robin out there, cherish every moment as if it were your last, because we are not promised a tomorrow!!! |
