| About | Ronald James Sale March 1, 1948 - December 26, 2024 Lexington, Kentucky - Ronald James Sale, 76, passed peacefully on December 26, 2024. He was born March 1, 1948, in Poughkeepsie, NY. Ron retired from the Lexington Herald-Leader and worked many years for ITN Bluegrass, a driving service for seniors and the visually challenged. Music, books, pets, and close childhood friends meant the world to him. He is survived by his wife, M. Claire, sister Claudia Haddock, daughters Jennifer McHale (Matthew) and Meaghan Sale (Devin McAuliffe), grandsons Daniel McHale (Victoria) and Bryan McHale, along with many other family members and friends.
