About Christopher Martin Boschert passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 10th at Hospice of Cincinnati, Western Hills. A lifelong resident of Newport, KY, Chris was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Anna (nee. Sweeney) Boschert. He leaves behind his sisters, Jennifer Barnette and Julie (Andrew) Roll; his brothers, David (Tina), Matt (Robin) and Nicholas (Melissa) Boschert; his beloved cat, Ashley & many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Boschert worked at Standard Textile in Hebron, KY and was well-known and loved in the Newport community, culminating in Mayor Peluso proclaiming June 22, 2012 (his 50th birthday) as Chris Boschert Day in the city of Newport, KY. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, January 14th at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Ft. Thomas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 15th at Holy Spirit Parish, Newport. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati 4310 Cooper Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45242, which provided incredible comfort and care to both him and his family in his last days or to the Campbell County Animal Shelter 1989 Poplar Ridge Rd. Melbourne, KY 41059 as Chris was a huge animal lover.
