| About | After LHS Russell graduated NSU and served as a fighter pilot in WW II. He returned to LHS and served as band director for many years. His 6 decades career included service at Lake Charles and Woodville TX He received many recognitions and awards for his service. Russell retired to Lufkin TX. He is survived by his wife of 68 yrs, 2 children, 2 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and his sister Mary Ann Stephenson. |
