| About | Elaine Marie Stotko Passed away October 16, 2008 of brain cancer. She graduated in 1971 from PHS as Valedictorian. Survived by Lori Stotko, 1982 PHS graduate and Edward Stotko 1972 graduate. Husband of 13 years, Eric Jacobson, her son Adrian Quintero, and her parents Arline and Ski Stotko, of Bossier City, La. She was the Dean of the College of Education, Johns Hopkins, Baltimore Maryland. Elaine was granted a PhD in Linguistics and devoted her life to the study of language and to creating excellent teachers to create excellent students. She is widely published in her field. She enjoyed playing Bluegrass bass fiddle, bookbinding, singing and baking. WE miss her! |
