Phyllis Jeanette Malenfant, 67, passed away at her daughter's home on March 3, 2013. Phyllis was born on Oct. 27, 1945 in Caribou, Maine. She is survived by her companion, Robert A. Shelton of many years; and her three children, Tina Marie Spain (James) of Wasilla, Alaska, Robyn Marie Padilla of Belen, N.M. and Gerald Lee Murrell, Jr. (Uyen) of Zearing, Iowa. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Ryan and Kaitlyn Stinson of Wasilla and Taylor Murrell of Zearing. Survivors also include six brothers, Robert Malenfant (Elaine) of Caribou, Maine, Phillip Joseph Malenfant (Marie) of North Pole, Alaska, Gary Malenfant (Nancy) of Caribou, Galen Malenfant (Pat) of Bangor, Maine, Gregory Malenfant(Karen) of Caribou and William Malenfant (Mary Jean) of Leominster, Mass.; and two sisters; Joyce Johnston of Caribou and Patricia Jackson (Helston) of Caribou. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Phyllis spent most of her life working in doctors offices, health insurance companies as well as real estate in her later years. These were great times for her as she enjoyed meeting new people each day and making new friends. She loved to warm the hearts of others. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. at La Paz-Graham's Funeral Home, 555 W. Amador Ave. on Thursday, March 7, 2013. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
