About | Augusta ME - Roland A. Gagnon, 55, of Civic Center Drive died unexpectedly at his apartment on or about March 28, 2009. He was born in Skowhegan on July 30, 1953, the son of Edward Gagnon and Marilyn (Russell) Gagnon. Roland was a 1972 graduate of Cony High School in Augusta. He was employed as director of R&P Food Pantry for 13 years. Surviving are three daughters, Mary Allain, of Waterville, Lisa Robles, of Lowell, Mass., and Robin Gagnon, of Augusta; his mother, Marilyn (Russell) Gagnon, of Florida; three sisters, Nancy Wade and Cindy Staude, both of Ocala, Fla., and Linda Hawn, of Anchorage, Alaska; two granddaughters, Seirra Gagnon and Leigh-Ann Gagnon; his former wife and mother of his children, Patricia Stults-Gagnon, of Augusta; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no public visiting hours. A private memorial service will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Bread of Life Shelter, 157 Water St., Augusta, ME 04330.
